Blue Water plays a crucial role in Guyana's sporting achievements
Historic milestone for new stadium
Blue Water marked a historic milestone for football in Guyana by breaking ground for Blue Water Shipping Stadium at Durban Park. FIFA Vice President and CONCACAF President Victor Montagliani, Guyana Football Federation (GFF) President Wayne Forde and Senior VP of Operations at Blue Water Guyana Jennifer Falconer, joined the historic sod-turning ceremony. Our partnership with the GFF marks the beginning of a large-scale project to transform the country's infrastructure and develop young athletic talent across the nation.
Cultivating talent and character beyond infrastructure development
"The construction of the Blue Water Shipping Stadium is a pivotal moment for us," expressed Jennifer Falconer. "However, our commitment goes beyond mere infrastructure development. We are steadfast in our dedication to nurturing young talent, fostering character, and creating opportunities that fuel dreams for our young athletes. With this stadium, our athletes will find numerous avenues for growth through the support of GFF."
Redefining Guyana’s football presence
With this development, Blue Water plays a crucial role in Guyana's progress and sporting achievements. Through the new stadium, we can anticipate Blue Water Shipping Stadium hosting regional and international tournaments, which will redefine our nation's presence on the global football stage and reflect our ongoing commitment to delivering projects that foster societal advancement and bolster local economies.
