Logistics contract awarded for North East Link project in Australia

The contract underlines Blue Water's expertise in infrastructure projects and solutions-based approach

Blue Water has secured a large infrastructure logistics contract with its involvement in the North East Link project - one of Australia's largest road projects, valued at AU$15.8 billion. The project will connect key growth areas in Melbourne, improve transport connections and enhance local infrastructure.

After more than a year of dedicated planning and collaboration, Blue Water has been selected to provide a com-prehensive range of logistics services. This includes warehouse management services, warehouse management systems and transportation from the warehouse to the project site.

Bespoke solutions

This win underlines Blue Water's solutions-based approach and builds on expertise gained from other major Australian infrastructure projects. The lessons learned and successes achieved in previous endeavours have positioned Blue Water as the ideal partner to deliver reliable and efficient logistics for this major project.

The North East Link project is being delivered by the Spark Consortium, a group of world-leading contractors and operators including WeBuild, GS Engineering and Construction, and CPB Contractors. The construction started in 2022 and is expected to be completed by 2028. Blue Water is looking forward to beginning its involvement in this contract.
