We're proud that Charmaine Anderson of Blue Water Aberdeen has been shortlisted for the UK Young Freight Forwarder Award. This nomination highlights her dedication, talent and the positive impact she's made in the industry.

Since joining Blue Water three years ago, Charmaine has become an integral part of our Aberdeen team, handling multimodal shipments for both import and export. Charmaine believes her success is down to the supportive and collaborative environment at our Aberdeen office. "Every team member is approachable, open and eager to help, so I get to learn from the best people, which has helped me progress over the years." She particularly thanks General Manager Stewart Greig for his mentorship, advice and commitment to a strong team culture.

Being nominated as a finalist came as an unexpected but positive surprise to Charmaine, who feels appreciated for the hard work and dedication she's put in. "It's not about winning for me," she says. "I'm just happy to be in the top six in the UK and will be forever grateful for the recognition."
