At the Vestas Global Shipping Summit, Blue Water was honoured to receive the Safety and Quality Award for best Stevedoring Company by Vestas. This global recognition highlights the quality and safety of Vestas’ suppliers in the renewable energy industry. Vestas praised Blue Water's safety training programs, reliability and our in-house IT system, 'CompassWind,' which allows Vestas to monitor transport and storage status. Vestas described Blue Water as a "very transparent and honest" supplier.

“We have a long-standing partnership with Vestas, and receiving this award is a testament to the work we do at Blue Water,” says Brian Sørensen, Global Category Head of Wind and Port Service at Blue Water.

Safe working culture

Blue Water, especially the Port Service teams, prioritise safety and quality through continuous training and education. This focus has resulted in minimal damage to goods and personnel, ensuring that Blue Water’s wind logistics solutions meet the highest international standards.

As Vestas prioritises safety and quality in its suppliers, Blue Water is pleased that these efforts have been recognised. Vestas stated in the jury report that QHSE requirements are clear and visible wherever you visit Blue Water sites. "We emphasise safety training and foster a safe working culture. The fact that this commitment is recognised by Vestas motivates us to continue our work and strengthen our relationship," Sørensen added.
