Blue Water opens first office in Chile
The office in Santiago provides project logistics for the Latin American region
With the opening of its first office in Santiago, Chile, Blue Water establishes a strategic hub to serve the Latin American market. In addition to several Blue Water offices in Brazil, this new location in Latin America will give the global transport and logistics company a set-up to meet the need for project logistics in the region.
“We believe that local presence is key to maintaining close market reach and continued growth. With recent developments in the Latin American market, opening a first office in Chile fits our strategic approach to be close to our clients,” says Brent Patterson, Global Director of Energy, Ports and Projects at Blue Water.
High-quality logistics
The office opening in Chile will strengthen the growth journey that Blue Water is currently carrying out. Further, it will accommodate the need for reliable and high-quality logistics. The main focus for the office will be transport and logistics for energy and projects – but moving forward, it could expand with services and activities within other business segments.
With a team of well-experienced and dedicated, local logistics experts, the office offers a broad range of logistics services, including project logistics, supply and service contracts, technical engineering support for heavy lift/oversized cargoes and vessel chartering solutions.
“I am proud to be part of Blue Water’s Latin America team for project logistics. Our establishment in the region represents a change in the logistics paradigm. We are known for our dedicated and exceptional services. Together we create solutions means that we find the best possible solution for each client, supported by our international offices, top-notch personnel, value-added services and IT solutions”, adds Martijn Pentermann, General Manager, Blue Water Santiago.
