3-year extension for INEOS base operation at Port of Esbjerg
The base contract includes loading and unloading of vessels, outdoor container and equipment handling including quality inspections
Blue Water has successfully secured a 3-year extension for its base services for INEOS E&P A/S at the Port of Esbjerg, Denmark. The contract, building on a collaboration since 2017, covers a comprehensive range of services, including loading and unloading of vessels, outdoor equipment handling and quality inspections.
"We are proud to have received this extension and to continue our cooperation with INEOS," says Per Jensen, Global Director of Blue Water's Port Service Division. Blue Water and INEOS have been working together at Esbjerg Port since INEOS bought the operations of DONG, for which Blue Water had been handling stevedoring activities since 2008.
"The stevedoring work we perform at the harbour for INEOS is not just an operation; we supply the complete logistics. Our yard facility and warehouse are vital components, ensuring seamless cooperation with high standards in stevedoring,” adds Jensen on the significance of the collaboration.
